About Fiona:
Dr. Fiona Moffatt is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham, UK. Her clinical and research interests are in: physical activity and rehabilitation; aquatic exercise; critical care; dysfunctional breathing; quality improvement and implementation science; and healthcare design, delivery and productivity. She is also a social scientist and sociologist with an interest in the sociology of the professions, Foucauldian governmentality and identity.
She has published and presented in internationally recognised fora and is motivated by promoting physical activity for all and understanding the psychosocial dimensions of health and wellbeing. Fiona is one of the founding members of #MovementForMovement, a representative on Swim England’s Health Commission and a collaborator in the international CauseHealth Project
