Trevor lived with persisting pain for over 20 years. During that time he tried every treatment modality possible. Pain increased and he was looking at retiring to an aged care retirement village when he was accepted into one of the best pain management clinics in Australia. From debilitating pain no work, applying for disability pension Trevor learnt and put into practice pain self management. Short story is 8 years on he’s back to fulltime work, back into relationship after a difficult divorce and loving life. He speaks about how pain science helped him regain function,regain his life and practice pain self management to enjoy a life with minimal pain. Trevor has been involved in three pain revolution tours speaking across Australia about the effectiveness of pain self management and has an ability to put complex concepts into easy to understand practice. He speaks from experience and has a passion for encouraging clinicians to live dim sim therapy so they can model good pain management practice every day in their lives and practice.
